This is a N ICE SPECIMEN that is an amethyst scepter from the Fat Jack mine in Crown King, Arizona. This is from the collection of a discriminating Middle-Georgia collector with an eye for aesthetics and quality. These choice specimens now bear Dixie Euhedrals labels. This is a great example from the Fat Jack mine in Yavapai County, Arizona. This has the classic stem and scepter cap with several markers that this mine is known for. The stem is smoky with darker smoky phantoms and complex faces. What is peculiar is that the base of the stem has a definite yellow citrine color that is quite strong. This has smaller scepters on the sides of the main crystal. The second to largest crystal does have a tiny ding to the exact tip. Since the photos are enlarged this shows up all too well in some of the photos.

In real life it is not noticeable, while the gorgeous amethyst color takes all of the attention. This is shown with enlarged images so please note. This is shown with large high-resolution images. The photos show the specimen as if you were examining it with a magnifying glass. Every good detail, and every bad detail, is shown in a blaze of glory or shame as the case may be.
